Yes it could be that, the shape of the back of the spoke and the depth of the rim will affect clearance. That part is not however listed for turbo models, but we knew that already Good luck and hope it works out. Maybe if you have time you could post a photo of the clearance between front caliper and rim.

Or measure it with a feeler gauge?

Keep us posted. The 19" winters give me a about 1cm clearance between the rim and the caliper. It must be down to mms for the 18. Careful when you take the rim off that you don't chip the caliper

Will try to take photos / measure the clearance next time it's daylight.
Curious thing is that when speccing up a new car on the configurator, you can select an 18" collapsible spare wheel for the Turbo or GTS.

Pictures of 18-inch "MACAN" wheels (part no. 95B 044 600 21) fitted to our Turbo for the winter.
Tested with all movements, lock to lock, etc and there is enough clearance from the wheel spokes too.
Perhaps different design 18" wheels would not fit due to different spokes, etc.

Ha, that’s after this mornings drive to work in slush.
Yes, tight, but workable.
Well, if we do any damage, I will report back.

Thanks for posting those. It's a tight fit but not as tight as the OEM 18" wheels over the AP calipers on my M3. They either fit or they don't, as long as the wheel spins freely when the caliper is hot then all is good.Semerka wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2017 2:35 pm Pictures of 18-inch "MACAN" wheels (part no. 95B 044 600 21) fitted to our Turbo for the winter.

Very true, Martin!
I think they look a tighter fit in the pictures, because of the flash photography and the shadows.
You can fit a man's finger inbetween the calipers and the inside rim of the wheels.
