Disappointed in this cold snap (-8.5 here last night) that both my cars suffer from frozen washer jets. Our last few Golfs had heated jets which never froze up.

I know lots of you will say that there should be antifreeze in the washer bottle, but I'm using the Porsche recommended stuff in the correct dosage and it still freezes solid.

Not good enough, Porsche. But that's just my opinion.

Are you using anti freeze in addition to the screen wash fluid? This is what the manual says:
Washer Fluid
Observe the following points:

Depending on the season, mix the water with the appropriate additives (window cleaner concentrate, antifreeze) in the correct mixture ratio.
Summer filling with water + window cleaner concentrate in the mixture ratio specified on the container.
Winter filling with water + antifreeze + window cleaner concentrate in the mixture ratio specified on the container.
Always follow all the instructions on the containers of the additives used.
Only use window cleaner concentrate that meets the following requirements:
Dilutability 1:100,
Phosphate-free,
Suitable for plastic headlight lenses.

Note: Only use antifreeze for washer systems.

I expect the nozzles are heated but not sure how the heating is switched on. When you switch on the heated rear window, with the engine running, the exterior mirror heating comes on. Maybe the nozzles come on too?

Good spot Nick - I would have thought that the Porsche screenwash additive was for all seasons and included antifreeze in it. Maybe not, must look at the bottle again. If not, I will have to revert to the gallon of cheapo stuff that has been in my shed since 1971.

Again, not good enough Porsche!

And definitely not heated as I had the rear demisters on as well as the front high blast blowers for at least 10 miles of the journey.

Manual says washers heating on when ignition on. Spare department described the screen wash concentrate good to -43°c when undiluted.

Clearly British cold is different to German cold. 😳
