I’m glad the Macan is heavy!

So, I spent the last 36 hours in hospital on my parents’ bedsides. They, in their Macan S, were in a high speed headon collision with a drunk driver swerving into their lane. They had nowhere to go. They both have many broken bones and shaken up, but alive! And after seeing the wreckages, honestly I am surprised...

The thing is, here in Europe not that many people drive heavy vehicles, they usually prefer smaller and sportier cars. I saw with my own eyes what was left of said sportscar hitting my parents’ Macan... nothing...

This whole experience just makes me appreciate my Macan even more: fun, well handling and safe! All in one.

Hope they have a speedy recovery.

It has crossed my mind (but hopefully I don't find out) that the Macan would be a good vehicle to have an accident in.

All the Best.

Speedy recovery for your parents and sounds like it could have been far worse. Best wishes all round

A harrowing experience for your parents and for you. The Macan is a solid machine but a head-on collision is awful whatever you happen to be travelling in. My best wishes to you, I hope everyone makes a full recovery.

May I add my best wishes to your parents after what must have been a most horrific collision. Clearly their Macan delivered critical protection when they needed it most.

Best wishes to your parents from me too

How did the other driver fare hitting a big strong Macan in what sounds like a small sports car.
