500 kilometres?! Is that all?! ;)
 good spot got confused between miles and km as I did it. 500k milies or 500,000km, was not scientific comment - take your pick

Having taken delivery of new SD Macan 20thMarch 2017 and with change to circumstances covering much less mileage part exchanged for a new GTS delivered 1st December 2017 .They are both the best SUVs on sale at the present time ( I lost nearly £6000 in the deal) but when I look at the headlines on TV (Diesel Sales down 17%) I am now considering myself fortunate to have got out when I did.It is appalling that the politician who was
the one who encouraged us to go diesel now wears a very different HAT now real turncoats. Both Macans are excellent vehicles but are not similar in driving character. As other members have noted you do not consider GTS /Turbo /S models if fuel consumption is your main priorty.I was greatly impressed with my first Porsche the SD but I must admit the GTS really puts a huge smile on my face when I use it

Sounds like a great deal. If I could have swapped my SD for a GTS at a similar time after delivery and only lost £6k, I definitely would have. Smart move .... enjoy!

Agreed. £6k loss/depreciation on the SD, plus the cost differential between a new SD and a new GTS (about another £10k depending on options).

I was assuming a £6k loss and any cost to change. Still seems like a good deal to me. A GTS in my ideal spec was only £2.5k more than my SD!

6k in 9 months is fairly light but I would be reluctant to suck that lollipop.

I don't think you could get that as a trade-in deal now? Someone posted the other day about picking up a 6 month old, £65.5k car for £56k. Take off the OPC wedge of £8k and you are at £48k, or a loss of £17.5k?
