And what's a 911S?
Cheers, Paul.
Look away now petrol Macan owners!

Nice to hear of a manual transmission 911. Something of a rarity these days.

Yes, quite a lot has changed in the 12 years since I bought that car. I first made the switch to PDK in 2013 with the 981, no regrets personally, but I can fully understand the 'real drivers car' sentiment from the manual box aficionados? My GT3 was a 7.1 and therefore manual, which is why at 10 years old it is worth £15k more than I paid for it as a 3 year old!
Edited to add, sadly no longer in my garage!

That GT3 is gorgeous. Is that the one you've sold on?

Yes, I traded it for the 981, for the now unbelievable sum of £52k! Now £80-£85k?
It got critique on Pustonheads for being a 'comfort' version (sunroof and Sports seats), but still, even as a non-Clubsport (only 13k miles when I sold it), it would fetch good money.

Wow! Even at £80k to £85k, I'd call that a bargain!
Probably not an ideal daily driver though. Love the rear spoilers on those!

The reason I got rid was predominantly the lack of user friendly items, like lack of park sensors, 75mm from the road chin spoiler etc, which kept my usage down and which is a shame, as that really isn't their raisin d'être?
Multi-storey car parks were a particular nightmare and every trip had to be planned for obstructions, sharp inclined turns etc. Later models had a front suspension lift option, which was a good move?
In hindsight, I should've just bought a Golf daily and kept it, but hey-Ho?

Hi,
I’m not sure if you mean me or the original poster ...
I owned an SD for 2 1/2 years (it’s gone now) and have owned a GTS for nearly a year now.
They are different (or why would they exist?), significant is a very subjective word, that’s MY opinion
I agree with your last comment
BTW.
