That is the official salesman line so that people do not delay a purchase. He wants to meet his current sales targets.

You often find that the dealer network as a whole are kept in the dark for just this reason (dealership and Porsche UK targets not just the sales staff)

Or maybe the expectation of the reveal versus the expectation of the official date.

Customers & potential customers can be better informed by following forums like ours & by simply following a few online sites, rather than relying on OPCs. Whenever I speak to an SE or Sales Manager at an OPC, they are less well informed than us on here.

What do you think of the face lift GTS in September?

Macan GTS.Vol/ grey turbo 21s, Bose, Panroof, heated seats and steering wheel, 18 way , red belts, LEDs, light comf mem, privacy , compass, 18 spare wheel, aluminium inserts, auto dim mirrors, smoked,r/rails,p/assi. CAYMAN GTS now 😊

....there won’t be one! I wouldn’t expect the facelift GTS untill well into ‘19

Sheffield OPC said the first deliveries of a facelifted GTS will be end of 2019/beginning of 2020.

If they are right I’m still gonna have to wait about 6 months to a year for the GTS model which is what I have currently and my personal favourite.
