And if the tyre valve caps don’t have matching Porsche crests that’s an automatic fail too..........
.............. just joshing!

I'm coming up to my 5th year with this baby and at 39k miles the tyre tread is looking safe enough to pass an MOT
But will I be granted a warrany extension.
I cant remeber if this car has ever even asked for a service yet.
It must have had an oil change.
Must check the history book.
Back later.

My Macan is coming up to 5 years old (new in Mar 2016) and as it has hardly been driven (especially lately!) there is around 5mm left on all tyres.
The car needs an MOT and was intending to extend the Porsche warranty by another 2 years from Mar 21 to Mar 23.
I asked my OPC if tyres would be ok and the answer was ‘ the car will pass the MOT as the tyres can be up to 10 years old for an MOT but they can ONLY be 4 years old in order to pass the Porsche 111point check to purchase a NEW warranty’
With me so far..............
‘HOWEVER, as I currently have a Porsche warranty until Mar 21, if I extend it before expiry to Mar 23 it will cost £1440 and I DO NOT require a 111point check as the car is within the warranty period for extension!?’
So all I need to do is send the OPC a copy of my V5 and a copy of service stamps and my 5 year old tyres are OK????
Anyone else experienced this.?
While we were intending doing anyway it was a stipulation that all 4 tyres were replaced before they would extend the warranty on our Cayman as they were all less than 3mm.
