What discount would they give you off a new build to your specification. If the discount on a new build is negligible then the big amount off the car they have coming has to be attractive.

I was under the impression that Porsche were basically little to no discount. Ever. C. 2% being the best normal. Is this just a UK thing? If I thought i could get 10% of a 911, I’d be straight in there!

5-6% seems to be normal in the US but they are mostly bought off lot and doubt it applies to build to order. Suspect as I mentioned earlier that it’s an incentive to offload a cancelled order but I may be wrong of course

Ha ha! Knew it wouldn't take long!

I think your guess of UK discounts is about right.

It seems that some overseas markets can feature more generous discounts... :geek:

Update: car arrives early next week! And lucky me gets to drive it thursday and friday :). Ofcourse, they are banking on me giving in after that... they might be right... lets see... And lets hope they do not read these posts! 😂.

If I configure a carrera 4 pdk, with the options I would take (colour and interior are already my choice) and take into account the normal discount I would get, the net sales price would be the same...

Sounds tempting! :)

Maybe test drive it and then try to squeeze a little more discount from them...? :ugeek:

Or a good residual for the Macan Turbo ;). I might be temped to switch sides. We have the volvo for the rough stuff and skiing. Although with all the options I added, I’d probably loose quite a bit... Got it last May with sticker price of 110.000 euros... fully loaded with Turbo exterior pack.

Damn Brussels carshow! A friend of mine told me “Don’t go! Because you in a carshow is like a pyromaniac in a fireworks store!” Hahaha 😂.... Seems like he had a good point there.... 😁

Also wondering of they would bring out a Black Edition end of life for the 991.2, like they did for the 991.1 and more recently the Cayenne... If so, when? That also might be a good deal...
