So, after visiting the Brussels Carshow, seeing the beautifull model T, and the new electronic dash in the cayenne and spypictures of the new 992 which I do not like, and having the 911 ich for 38 years, I’m gonna bite the bullit on a 991.2. Went to the dealer, not really knowing which one to get, he offered me a great deal on a car they have coming in:

I want to use this car all year round over the weekends. I’ll have the macan and our volvo for when snow is a real problem, not that we have that much here in Belgium. It does rain alot though, is cold and autumn roads (with leaves) are treacherous. So maybe 4 wheel drive would be better?
What do you think of the build?
Thanks,
Tom.
Adding a 911?

That's a beautiful GT Silver C4, Tom! Classic.
Would there not be time to submit an order for a 911 made to order though?
Cheers,
Simon

I agree with Wing Commander, unless you are getting a good discount then I would spec the car to my exact personal taste rather than take a pre build model.

. Yeah sorry, I work in Luxembourg and buy my cars just across the border in Germany (better service and lower VAT), hence the German confuselator
25% of the total price in extras does seem rather a lot to me.
Not speaking German I had to guess at some of the extras.
A great discount of 10-15k Euro or greater would be nice.

Discount is almost 15k euro... and virtually no waiting time (but thats to satisfy the eager kid in me LOL). It has most of the options I would take (except maybe a bit of the cosmetic stuff like black xenons and tail lights, painted logos and interior package etc... And although those spiders are my prefered wheels, i would stick with the S model wheels. GT silver, black full leather interior, sports seats plus and sport chrono are must haves for me... now for the big one: I was actualy contemplating getting a manual again...

A very decent discount to counteract that it isn't your personal build, Tom. Nearly 15k euros off would certainly sweeten the pill.Orangebulldog wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 4:47 pm Discount is almost 15k euro... and virtually no waiting time (but thats to satisfy the eager kid in me LOL). A manual 911? Of course! By all means! You know it makes sense! Why not a new Carrera T!?
