Lockton quoted my forthcoming GT3 (3,000 miles per year) at £1500. Car value based on current market values so have to insure a 134k car for 190k, as that's what it would cost to replace.
Wonder what the premium would be for 15k to 18k miles per year?!

Lockton are definately who I would look at for GT cars and anything that will appreciate.
They are highly rated.
I think they give discounts if you are a Porsche Club GB member.

I'm with Admiral. Every year when I get the renewal I ring them up and claim I have a quote around £100 less, even though they are always by far the cheapest (around £590). They always give me the discount as I say how happy I am and I don't want to leave.
Truth is the next nearest quote on the comparison sites was over £800, going up to £3.5k.

Nice tactic. Don't they ask who your cheaper quote is from?
No, they never do. I'm careful to keep it reasonable rather than take the piss, and I'm always complimentary about their service. I'd probably just wing it if they asked a few questions, like say it was a telephone quote from NFU. So far so good though.
