I did wonder as my quote was a little less, but my quote was for 5000 miles so that explaines it, although I got the quote in November when I ordered the car so possibly a bit more now.

Just added the 911 GTS to my Macan policy with NFU, £185 for the remaining six months.

£360 and no tracker required :o
Hi Again VanB, NFU have quoted me £590 for my 2.0 Macan with no voluntary excess, I haven't claimed on a policy for approx 40 years, I only do 3500 a year and live in low risk Lincoln. How did you manage to get your GT4 covered with them for only £360....

Their quotes are massively postcode dependent so I think I'm just lucky living in a low-risk (for them) postcode area. Also the 911 was less to insure than my Macan. No witchcraft involved just how their actuaries calculate risk.

May have something to do with the No of Macan/Porsche owners at the Actuarial dining club I sometimes attend. My profession always did know to look after itself!!

Im a really old git and use Saga........the main reason is that I spend a lot of time in Europe and as far as I know, that are the only company that give you unlimited time cover in Europe ! All others I have had quotes from restricted to 90 days.

I've just moved from AXA to NFU Mutual because AXA became greedy and NFU regularly seem to come top of customer satisfaction surveys which include claims satisfaction as opposed to many review sites where reviews seem to be aimed at the ease of taking out a policy. Whilst the NFU premium does seem high it's a case of you get what you pay for in life and rarely to you get something for nothing no more so that in the world of insurance. Insurance policies are a minefield and insurance documents should be read particularly the what's not covered section which normally identifies why a cheap policy is cheap...

We had a very competitive quote from an NFU rival a few years ago; turned out they'd missed a few properties.

Could have been an expensive mistake!
