From Greg Kable (German motoring journalist) on Twitter: The German Transport Authority (Kraftfahrtbundesamt - KBA) is considering placing a registration ban on the @Porsche Macan Diesel S due to the discovery of "suspect emission manipulation software", according to @BILDamSONNTAG . The Macan Diesel S uses an @Audi V6 diesel engine

That's interesting. The Series 2 Cayenne diesel (Platinum edition only) is back on the configurator and that's the same engine. You may recall that Cayenne diesels were banned in Germany (and subsequently withdrawn from sale in the UK) in a similar row over emissions. I had wondered at the time why the Macan SD was not affected.

With the factory not producing petrol engines for four to five months this summer, it could be a quiet summer for Porsche registrations!

I thought they had already banned them fro sale last year i Germany / Switzerland etc.
Macan GTS.Vol/ grey turbo 21s, Bose, Panroof, heated seats and steering wheel, 18 way , red belts, LEDs, light comf mem, privacy , compass, 18 spare wheel, aluminium inserts, auto dim mirrors, smoked,r/rails,p/assi. CAYMAN GTS now 😊
