Not sure whether PTS is available at the moment.

I first went to the dealer in December 2016 and discussed my spec which included Signal Green PTS.

When I went in with full spec and ready to place deposit in February 2017 PTS wasn't available so I still ordered for October to get the slot.

Unfortunately I was decided on the colour so had to get the wrap!

All looking good now after 3+k miles, the only blemish is where someone opened the boot when the car was against a wire fence. I can just see it but nobody else can.

The wrap is easy to replace or remove leaving pristine paintwork underneath and mine was just under half the price of PTS.

How would you go about getting the wheels painted and rough cost of this ?

When I had my 991.1 C2 I enquired about getting the standard silver Carrera S wheels re-treated in satin Platinum grey.

The OPC recommended a local Swindon alloy wheel specialist. The quote for all four wheels came to just over £400.

From memory, they check for damage, correct any issues, strip the wheels down & professionally re-treat.

The local OPCs use them for any refurbishment work on Porsche wheels.

I just had two of my wheels fully stripped back and re-powder coated. Came to £286 which was the most expensive quote I got. They seemed the most professional though and the business owner was a big Porsche fan running a 996 Turbo and a 996 40th anniversary. He was off to Stuttgart that weekend to look for a 50th anniversary to add to the collection!

A bit grubby at the moment!

I'll get a few more photos when i wash it, our lane is waterlogged and filthy so need some decent weather.
