Show me your wrap
So, i nipped to the local public house at weekend and was greeted with a rather stunning coloured Macan sat in the car park. I have never seen this particular colour but i must say it looked amazing, it was a kind of very light dolphin grey colour and they had put all black 21" turbo wheels on it. A quick check of the reg on a trusty app i have shown that it was a recently registered 2.0 petrol. Even Mrs J5kol was impressed and she hates cars. Has anyone wrapped there Macan as i suspect this is what this is, if so would be interested to know what your outcome was and how much roughly it costs ?

It could be fashion grey or crayon as PTS.
Wraps can be scratched quite easily. Stuart from F1 Wax actually posted something today - he was fixing a YouTuber's car after he took it through one of those dodgy car wash places in London. Interesting to see the corrective work and the extent of the scratching that gritty cloths caused. He then went and ceramic coated the wrap.
I'm sure it's all endorsement and freebies but who spends a couple of grand on a wrap to then ceramic coat it for around say £500 when you can have paint for not that much more.

Remember when new cars came with plastic on the seats? It’s like keeping that on to protect them. Well not really but it came into my head.

Yep, Fashion Grey (so the cost of PTS) and the wheels look like 21" 911 Turbo wheels that have been painted black.

A friend took the black paint off the wheels on a car he bought and it seems that Porsche just sprayed on to the standard aluminium and lacquer so there was a silver ready to go wheel underneath. With the right chemicals, nothing is really permanent!
I would see what Porsche charge - they'll doubtless use a bodyshop but it'll be ordained and should be able to get a factory level finish. I'd guess at a few hundred a wheel.
