Macan SD's are 20,000, not condition based.
There are some forum members (generally from an engineering background) that like a 10k change but when I asked the service manager at the OPC he said that 20k was absolutely fine, as recommended. Some may like the peace of mind but I was happy to keep my ยฃ300 for something else.

The service interval is 20k or two years but, dependent on usage, the car may call for an oil change at a lower interval as you are finding out. First with my Cayenne and then with my Macan I ended up booking the service a thousand or so miles early to fit with the need for an oil change. When the Macan came back from its first service, the indicator was showing 10k to the next oil change. Within a few weeks that had extended to 19.5k. I use the car almost exclusively for long journeys.happy days wrote: โThu Feb 01, 2018 12:50 pm IIRC the service intervals are 20k, but the indicator on our McCann advised an oil change at 10k. My 718 is approaching 11k and the indicator says service in 9000 miles. Maybe diesels are different?
The graphic in the Cayenne was marked in four segments but the Macan is not. In both cases, the difference between the high and low oil marks represents 1L.
Given that both cars use the same Audi 3L diesel, it's interesting that my Cayenne used oil at the rate of 5k/litre whereas the Macan is using it at the rate of 10k/litre.

The Cayenne Diesel S you have on loan might beat the Typhoon to 60mile/h. Will lose out massively after that

Glad it went in. Leak found on gear box, and also leak on AdBlue, and more work done under the warranty that they will discuss with me later

My McCann wants a change at about 20,000 and had a litre at 7000 or so. Now at 8,500 I think.
