The two years free is for PCM connect, managed by Porsche, not Car connect managed by Vodafone.

Too many connects!

I am considering buying a Macan S Diesel soon, butI get confused by all this - Porsche Car Connect, Porsche Connect Services, Connect Plus module, Connect apps etc.

I do NOT have a smartphone, and am not interested in having anything in the car to do with a cell phone/smartphone etc. All I would be interested in is having a sat-nav to get me from A to B. I like GoogleMaps and the real-time traffic information feature, and that's all I would want - so what Connect should I ask for, when I put an order in ?

You'll get it anyway, it's standard now. You could have a look at the Porsche Connect website if you're interested, otherwise wait until you get the car and have a teach in at the dealership.

I got the renewal email too but it isn’t worth £100/year. So I won’t be bothering either.
