Personally, I'd not bother with a base Carrera. You'll suffer a lot less depreciation on a GTS variant. That's not to take anything away from them, they're still fantastic but depends what you want out of it.
Alxgb. When I said I was buying a base Carrera :o :o I did really mean a C2 with £11/12 K extras and as you say it will be a fantastic car. I can't quite push it to a GTS cos i'm moving house and you don't get anything FREE thrown in these days with a new builds.
i've gone for lower kitchen upgrade and its £8.2 K including Silestone.

Not to concerned with depreciation these days I just want to enjoy life :D :D :D

I think the Carrera sounds great and with that sort of budget on the options list, it'll be a well specified car. I thought you were referring to a Cayman GTS versus 911 GTS.

I actually misread Silestone as Silverstone for a second there. That's what happens when you spend too much time on car forums!

As an aside, not sure if you've had Silestone before but having had installed it in two properties, I had a problem with Silestone in my current place. Cosentino could not have done less in helping resolve the issue so caveat emptor. Just ensure your supplier buys stock from the UK and not direct from the factory.

Nice. And coincidentally this one was sold when new to its current owner by the same OPC (Kendal) that has the Mint Green 718 Cayman S. :ugeek:

Just my views !
A SUV has everything going for it in todays day to day driving, thats why when I swaped the Macan for a 911, I then bought another cheaper SUV, a 63reg petrol Grand Vitara. Best of both worlds, a every day useable SUV and fun fast sports car for when the mood takes me.

Has been an eventful weekend! My girlfriend's eldest daughter had a baby last night, 8 weeks premature! Fortunately mother and baby are both doing well... :D

P.S. If I was to be speccing another 911, it would be a GT3 with Touring Pack...

Well, we can all dream...! ;)
