Nah, had it on my 2012 Yeti.......

You can also get it on Golfs and many others in VW so I don’t understand why not on the Macan (or why its been dropped from the Cayenne) Most unlike Porsche not to offer as many options as possible 😉
I think he’s right on the IP & ford... but only for the ones where an element is embedded in the front screen. Thunk the only models currently offering it are in the JLR group. (Had t on a rental disco at Christmas time).

The others all seem to use the method of blow a ton of air at the windscreen...annoyingly in my merc it wouldn’t allow aircon on at the same time, basically not drying the air first...so glad that car is gone!
We have the really thin electric embedded wiring in our 1 year old Volvo too... It works a charm. I know Geely bought Volvo from Ford, but that was eight years ago already... Licencing deal maybe?

Nice write up Garty - Always hankered after S4/RS4 Avant, perhaps less so now

I think that the RS4 is still pretty decent though. I had the avant and it was quite a “do it all” car. I have not tried the latest variant but seems to be getting good press.

Good review, thanks for taking the time. I'm a new owner with about 2 weeks under my belt. I got the turbo and came from a 911 (991.1) Carrera S. Have to say. I miss the prestige of the 911 but love the practicality of the Macan turbo. Yes, one day I will probably have both, for now the turbo seems to be an excellent choice.
My Porsche history
944 (sold)
911 (992.1 - sold)
Macan Turbo (sold)
Panamera turbo S E Hybrid (sold)
Cayenne sport (the bosses)
Taycan Turbo loving it.

They’ve had it in fords for a long time. First I remember is a 2002 ford focus silver edition. Probably long before that too...

It should be standard in all cars IMO.

Great review 👍

I was very close to putting down a deposit for a RRS and still fancy a RS4 so very relevant to me :D

In the past, I have fancied both a Range Rover Sport and an Audi RS4/RS6. However, I honestly can't see myself in anything other than a Porsche from now on... :)
