Only kidding. Good write-up. Im moving from B8 RS4 to Macan Turbo with PP. sounds like i may be in for a treat! 😀
i suspect that the turbo PP will be another step up again. Even with such a short attention span it should keep you entertained! ;) ;)
Or a remap. DMS Automotive do an excellent remap of the GTS. It gives 430bhp and 700Nm. GTS is ideal for this as it has the air intake and cooling from the turbo and the PDK. Goes well!!

Bear in mind though that it doesn't quite have the same brakes!

Yes of course VanB, it's a Porsche! But while it's easy to do a remap to add power, it's not so easy to uprate the brakes and suspension. The Macan is a big old bus and Porsche had their reasons for fitting bigger rear discs to the Turbo and bigger again front and rear on the PP.

The GTS brakes are the same at the front as the turbo. Its only the rears which are from the S. More importantly, the tyres on the GTS are wider than the Turbo models (265/295 vs 235/255) and the car is lighter (1845kg vs 1940kg), so braking is better in GTS.

Bigger brakes are more to prevent heat build up (fade) than stopping power. The brakes are more than able to induce the ABS, and the stopping power is limited by weight and tyres, both of which favour the GTS (lighter and wider tyres than Turbo or Turbo PP)

This is only true if the Turbo remains on its standard 19" wheels. I suspect that most Turbo buyers would upgrade to 20" wheels or 21" wheels.

20" or 21" wheels would give the Turbo the same width tyres as the GTS (on its standard 20" wheels). :ugeek:

I have 21" 911 Turbo wheels on my SD. I'm a sucker for a big wheel. If Porsche offered 22" wheels I'd spec those!
