The 718 - pretty much the best Cayman in all respects apart from the noise made by the engine and perhaps the 4-pot being a bit less smooth, refined and 'special' than the previous 6-pot engines.
I read today that the Cayman 718 GTS has the same Nurburgring lap time as the GT4 and the 997.2 GT3!
If I was in a 718 4-pot, I'd want to get round the ring quickly to get into something else too.
Only in the 718 series is GTS an acronym for Goddawful Tractor Sound.

I received a text earlier from the better half asking how she will fit her weekly shop she had planned to do in the vehicle (shown below) they had provided us with.
Show your wife this:
Honestly, that's not even trying. Cayman is very practical.
Well I am not sure how to describe the drive, erratic, noisy and extremely quick. Wouldn’t like to swap it for Macan S as it is far too uncomfortable, however I would definitely love one as a second car. I will update once I have completed my 50 mile commute in it tomorrow

You'll have to turn the stereo up to 11 (as Marshall amps say)
On the Cayman S I test drove as well as the F4T noise / drone I also found the ride a bit hard for me . I asked if I added PASM would it be any better and the reply I got was NO ???
