Of course it's not just confined to the engine bay: Exhaust, fuel system, rev counter (hence dash removal/refitiing). Then of course we'd be able to 're-purpose' the AdBlue tank! Having been used to the range, I'd want an extra 21 litres of petrol!
End of the Macan diesel
Am I right in thinking the early SDs are Euro 5 and later ones Euro 6 and if so, does this affect the level of undesirability of the various versions?
Maybe Porsche GMBH should stump up a discount/refund off the ticket price to every original SD buyer across Europe, dependant on which version they are (see above) for the inconvenience of getting banned from various European Cities and (imo) accelerated equity loss?
Not holding my breath, mind!

Diesel to petrol power unit change is not practical as little would be transferable, engine, gearbox, diffs, wiring loom, radiators, and dozens of other parts, large and small. Even mounting points on the shell could be different across models.
It would be cheaper to buy them back and crush them, but even that would bankrupt Porsche.

WHAT CAR? magazine says:
Porsche has just announced it's ending production of all its diesel models – so used Cayenne diesels might soon be in high demand
So it should apply to the Macan as well.
In the meantime "don't panic Mr Mannering!"

My OPC was keen to stress that whilst they saw residuals strengthening, they didn’t want to suggest the word collectible!
