Indeed, one good thing is the diesel won't loose any residual value against a face lifted diesel 😀

The 'new' Panamera SD is an awesome car with an amazing V8 engine. I drove several hundred miles in one and it was amazing! Incredible power from that diesel engine, akin to the Starship Enterprise on maximum warp speed! Had they offered a non-S Panamera diesel, I may well have gone for that rather than my 3.0 V6 petrol Panamera 4. I'm sure that that car & others like it will find a good home. :)

I'm really keen to see how this impacts residuals especially as we were considering getting out of ours.

There still must be a demand for Diesel Macans especially considering it's arguably best in it's class or am I just being optimistic!

If OPCs start buying up second hand stock to make up for lack of new cars residuals must improve. If you want to buy a Macan diesel then the second hand market will be the only option.

The SD is a brilliant SUV would be a shame if sales of used SD dropped off because PORSCHE have axed the Diesel variant but imo people tend to shy away from axed models and residuals suffers,it’ll not bother PORSCHE they’re just go from strength to strength with ever lengthing order waiting lists ,not good but glad we PX our SD last year for a GTS.
