Hi Mike, sorry I thought it was Night Blue we were talking about? The only colour I'd avoid but guess it is down to individuals is the Solid Black, you'd need your own detailer

Drop me a Private Message on here if you want a local detailer recommendation if you are thinking of having the car coated. You're welcome to come and look at my car when it is clean to evaluate his work.

Ok.. so getting close to my GTS arriving at the opc, I wasn’t going to see it until I was going to collect it , but thinking “should I?”. Also I have made a list of things that forum members have had problems with ie bonnet not aligned properly, creaks , wipers ( however in this case I will be presenting them with some bosh Aeros to fit!) I would welcome your knowledge on what I should l look for ,what I should ask for ,and how to resolve before collecting, thanks.

I chose not to see either my Macan or 911 prior to collection as I felt it would take something away from the 'event', but that's just me.
There's nothing wrong with the standard wipers so I would keep your replacements for when you need them in the future.
You need to have a good look around the whole car, inside and out, preferably in daylight. After the handover in the showroom I parked up outside and went over it in minute detail, checking for marks, damage and panel alignment. If you take the car away and later find some damage it will be a little trickier to argue than if you find it on collection. Warranty issues are different. The dealership will address anything you find that doesn't work as it should or fails within the warranty period.
