Also, If worried I suggest you take plenty of random pictures or video in the showroom then if something shows up when you are less excited then you may be able to go back to a picture to prove it was there on collection - or otherwise!

Ok.. so getting close to my GTS arriving at the opc, I wasn’t going to see it until I was going to collect it , but thinking “should I?”. Also I have made a list of things that forum members have had problems with ie bonnet not aligned properly, creaks , wipers ( however in this case I will be presenting them with some bosh Aeros to fit!) I would welcome your knowledge on what I should l look for ,what I should ask for ,and how to resolve before collecting, thanks.

I couldn't wait, mine arrived Friday and I went and had a look Saturday. Granted still in much on its transport grime.

I’m sure it will scrub up well! Mine arrives at Silverstone in Wednesday, I guess out of curiosity I’ll go and see it , but would prefer to check it when I can see the body work. When do you pick up? I’m starting to get “ Sleepless night syndrome “

Probably 1st may, thing is I work over the road from the dealer so I'm driving past twice a day!. Had my plate stuff through from dvla today so just a few things to sort this week then should be ready to go.

Mines from Porsche Teesside, I had thought of a GTS plate, but I've had my plate since 2001 so kinda attached to it.

Pick mine up then at the end of the month we are driving up to Inverness area for a week so that'll put a good 1,000 miles on it.

My OPC were instructed to do nthing to the car at all, hence it looked a bit grubby when I collected it.

I would advise you guys to receive your cars in the same state if you are going to get them Professionally detailed.

So it is just a case of checking panel fit and paintwork for any transit, dents or scratches.

It does take the shine off collecting a new car with it not looking at its best but it is well worth it.

It took three days for my Detailer to get this result.

Thanks, I am nervous about there washing technique! I haven’t decided on detailing yet although I can’t argue with the finish, I was hoping the ceramic finish would help with swirl marks but it seems it doesn’t.... your turbo looks great though .
