No movement, no discount, no nothing. Usual stuff about only a few slots left, car will depreciate before any new order delivery, factory closing etc.
Im disappointed there doesnt seem to have been any enthusiasm - I thought i was in a good position. 😕
I also enquired about a factory order on a petrol S but the most discount I could get was £1500 and most dealers offered zero discount due to the forthcoming factory shutdown and limited allocation.

Drove down from Yorkshire to Cambridge to collect my third Macan today. Really pleased with the new car. My worries about 21” wheels with no PASM were not necessary as the car appears to ride pretty much the same as my previous two Macans on 20” Spyders with all seasons. The 21” Pirelli P Zeros seem as quiet as the 20” Michelin Lattitude Tour HP although I suspect they will not last anywhere near as long as the all seasons which still had 5mm tread depth at 23000 miles. Volcano grey looks much meaner than agate grey but will show the muck more. Also happy with the 14 way comfort pack seats. Hand over by Porsche Cambridge went smoothly. Goodies included a bottle of Chateuneuf du Pape wine, 2 key rings, 2 surprise presents ( paperweight and wine bottle stopper ) and a very nice bouquet for the Mrs. Full tank of diesel to get me home as well. The only slight issue on handover was that the handbook pack was not available which will have to be posted to me. Some crappy iPhone pics :

You will notice that in pic 3 that the extra bracing bar is now removed and the side plastic covers are also deleted.

Very nice Mark - I agree the Volcano definitely looks meaner than the agate on a par with the Jet Black. I'm glad you got into Mac 3 and the slightly longer wait probably worked in your favour with the extra discounts being offered.
