Very nice Mark - I agree the Volcano definitely looks meaner than the agate on a par with the Jet Black. I'm glad you got into Mac 3 and the slightly longer wait probably worked in your favour with the extra discounts being offered.

Yes quite glad that I did not proceed in March 2017. Very pleased with the stealthy look of volcano with black sports classics coupled with black bi-xenons, black painted roof rails and black badges. The volcano painted side blades are not really necessary but as they came with the car who am I to complain.

Thanks WingCo. Just got back home as we had an overnight stay in Cambridgeshire last night. Car ran like a dream. No complaints at all about the 21” alloys although the warmer weather no doubt helps ride comfort. Just petrified about kerbing the wheels as unlike the Michelin 20” tyres there is very little in the way of side protection. Once I got home I gave the car a wash and the paintwork is like glass. The valet guys at Cambridge have done a good job. The Classic black alloys are also great to clean after the Spyders. This is my first car with bi-xenons and was impressed last night after donkeys years of halogens. Whilst washing the car I noticed that Porsche have replaced the brush type seals at the bottom of the side window glass which with my previous Macans went green after a while- the new seals are black rubber which hopefully will be better. Look forward to seeing pics of your T next month.

For myself the Macan suits all my needs. I was lucky with my May 2014 Macan which I sold a year later for a loss of only £200.

Those were the days for this car. Do you feel that the 21” are heavier. I definitely noticed it on the first couple of runs despite the 21 having been cast from a single piece of lightweight alloy...

It actually feels lighter than my previous Macans on 20” Spyders as my new car has Steering Plus included. Certainly makes manoeuvring lighter work.

I don’t mean light in terms of steering weight. It’s the feel of the front wheels on uneven road surfaces in corners. I can only describe it as if something is tugging at the wheels.

Cannot say I have noticed but I haven’t really given it any such testing as yet.
