Will have to book it into Porsche Leeds for the bonnet to be adjusted under warranty. Never had any rattles or creaks with my previous Macans.
Have booked my car in for warranty work as in addition to the rattles from the bonnet hinges/guide rails I now have rattles from the pan roof , tailgate and some buzzing from passenger door . Never had any rattles from my previous two Macans . Not a happy bunny at the moment as the car creaks like an old bus at the moment. OPC could not fit me in for 2 weeks if I needed a courtesy car so will have to put up with creaks for next 2 weeks :x

I had was I thought was a faint rattle coming from the pan roof, turned out to be dry seals. A quick wipe round the circumfrence of the main seal with silicon grease (best done from inside with the roof open) stopped it. Same can apply to door seals. Worth a try even if just to eliminate it from your enquiries as it were.

If it was just the pan roof then I would Gummiphledge the seals but as it is the bonnet hinges/ rails , doors and tailgate I think for the moment I will leave it to the OPC rather than go down the DIY route. Never had a new car with so many rattles/ creaks. I do wonder whether the removal of the extra bar in the engine bay has reduced torsional stiffness resulting in too much body flex.

Took my new Macan in to Porsche Leeds today for the rattles to be sorted out. Car due back tomorrow. Been loaned a 67 plate Cayenne diesel S with 8500 miles on the clock. The Cayenne is fully loaded. Cannot say that the Cayenne does anything for me. The Cayenne has 21” wheels with Yokohama summer tyres , PASm and air suspension. The ride is ok but cannot say it is significantly better than my Macan on standard non pasm steel suspension. The Yokohama tyres transmit a fair bit of road noise and you can feel road surface imperfections through the steering wheel. Cabin noise even at 50 to 70 mph on the Mway is poor with both road noise and wind noise. Plenty of rattles too. Surprised that the radio does not have DAB which seems odd when the car has BOSE. Leeds always have some nice cars in their showroom including a number of restored classics at over £200,000.

Yes it’s more powerful but not in a particularly pleasant way- seems a bit agricultural to me. For such an expensive car the Cayenne leaves me cold.

Surely they would be, if the OPC are running them on a demo/loaner car? :geek:
