AM89 There is no such thing as a performance exhaust. The optional sports exhaust doesn’t add performance.

Viewed the 2014 Macan Turbo today at Land Rover Edinburgh. Bodywork had some light scratches, all 4 wheel centre covers were corroded, no rear cam, car didn’t feel stable at higher speeds and parking sensor on front didn’t work.. shame as mileage is low at 16.5K and they won’t budge from the 50K asking price

Sadly the wheel centres do seem to have a habit of corroding. :(

Can you explain the high speed stability issue? Most you tube videos show/ seems to show they seem planted? Where the tyre pressures correct!? Alignment/ tyres uneven/ where tyres a good make? I only ask as I’ve encountered same issues on performance cars, and found but changing one of the above it can totally change the cars characteristics.

I too have found that in comfort mode and air suspension in normal height, my turbo can get a bit floaty above 160kmh. Putting pasm in Sport and air in Low solves it though.

Tyres were contis all round, wheel alignment did seem like it needed corrected so maybe lack of stability was from that ( but steering wheel seemed straight, maybe camber or castor angles ). Saying that im used to lower vehicles so maybe that, a mix of air susp carrying over 2 tonnes is the cause. Seen another 2014 turbo w same spec plus carbon interior. White exterior / red interior , 20K miles for 52,000£.

The Turbo and Air should be rock steady at speed, mine certainly is and no wallow or floating sensation.

In a straight line there is very little difference in the three suspension settings, the real difference is felt in the settings when you corner hard.

Lowering does firm it up quite a bit and enhances the settings further as per orangebulldogs post.

Agree, mine also with air and absolutely no movement whatever setting. Tyre condition, pressures and possible steering misalignment all possible causes.

For a 2014 model with 20,000 or less miles c£50k seems to be the market price, moving up a year adds around £6/7k. Good luck hunting.

The market is scattered and sadly there isn’t many private sellers - most are garages.. at least w private sellers usually their cars are usually their pride and joy / well looked after..
