Hatfield OPC charged me £741  That included brake fluid @£91, and Aircon service@£124 though.

They also charged me £50 for a replacement can of tyre sealant until I reminded them I have a spare wheel and so didn't have tyre sealant in the first place. £50 swiftly refunded with embarrassment.

Ouch, even allowing for the AC and fluid costs that's still nearly £100 above the fixed price for a minor. They're my nearest OPC (only just) but if that's what they're like maybe I'll go to the next nearest when my first service is due.

Thanks for the replies everyone

I rang back my nearest OP and Supplying dealer (Leeds) . A person I'd not spoken to before quoted £425 straight off the bat. No brake fluid change needed as just coming up to a year old (19k miles already). So it's booked in. Service guy claims that some cars need an oil change at circa 12-15k miles at some point in their second year, which might add to pricing confusion. So it's booked in.
