Porsche Connect Renewal

Just had the message on the PCM to say that my Connect service is about to expire and to go to Porsche.com/connect-store to renew.

On visiting the site it says the connect service would be either £99 or £119 per year or it can be free for the next two years.

Confusing or what? Anyway, I decided to go for the free two year option.

Anyone else had this?

Buy none get two free.

Yes, think it was much the same as I saw. Answer seems to be that the first two years of the car's life should be free and thereafter chargeable. But Porsche UK weren't properly organised until recently and so they're now starting the clock at nominal renewal time. At least, that's how it seemed to me!

I didn't see that when I renewed last month - the mothers!

In fact they heavily promoted packages and I had to really root about to find the individual prices.

Mine expires 5th March 19, the only option appears to be £119 / year.

Two years is £198 to give you the £99/year rate. Which I took last December.

There is definately some confusion with the info above. This is partly down to porsche naming everything so similar. They have renamed them now.

So My porsche (website) and the app Connect which allow for 18 services including google earth, online POI etc came with the Macan for 24 months. The renewal is only a yearly option once this expires and this was £119. It has now gone up to £139.

The Vodafone (website) and the car connect app which allow you to track where the car is and see fuel level etc is free for 12 months and then renewable on a 1 or 2 year basis at £99 and £180.
(These prices may have changed recently) as I renewed a year ago for 2 years. You can also pay additional for the tracker and security services here with Vodafone.

This is all for the Macan 1.

Macan 2 prices are different and offer some different services. (New 911 and new cayenne same)
But again come with initial 24 months free on the My Porsche.

It was still £119 when I renewed mine yesterday.
