BlueHorseshoe, you can have any colour that you want with a professionally applied wrap. Here are some Macan examples:

It will provide protection to the original paintwork and can be removed when you want to sell the car.

Not sure there's that much extra cost to a wrap vs PPF + ceramic coating... Just an option. if someone found a spec on a car and hated the colour, then wrapping it for say £2k (estimate) and protecting the original finish could be a good option...

I've considered making mine Nogaro Blue...but love the rhodium so is getting left as is for now...

No need for apologies - it's a new(ish) term on the automotive front... the examples provided already are pretty extreme...you can go for solid finishes, metallic, chrome, cammo - really whatever takes your fancy...

Look up yannamize on youtube/google to see some of what's been done, or Dub customs too...there's loads about that do it though e.g. TLC detailing in Stirling offer a decent service...

just an option, and cost wise, it's negligible if you were going down a paint protection film + ceramic coating route...

Night blue does look different depending on the weather. On a sunny day it can really pop and on a dull day looks more like black.

Check out the pics below ... personal choice and if you don't like it you don't. Good luck and hope you get a satisfactory resolution.

My next Macan is likely to be wrapped and I like the look of those with the stripes.

To not worry about stone chips is a big plus to having a car wrapped.

The guy who has just bought my SD wasn't aware of "detailing" and neither was I before I visited this forum. It's a whole new world out there

Thanks to Semerka, I'm going to save £700 to £800 that I would've spent on Gtechniq detailing, and buy some Sonax detailer instead! ;)

The £700 to £800 will go towards a winter wheel/tyre set instead! :geek:
