Ordered a GTS!

Funny you should say that Bazza06, I was originally told the facelift GTS would come out at a similar time to the other models but have now been told that would now not be happening.

The dealer has said that it is unlikely the facelift will apply to the GTS as it came out 2 years after the Macan model was released but I cannot get it out of my head that they will build two different Macans keeping the original GTS style.

Is this sales talk to get a buyer for the GTS they have already ordered? I don't know.

I'm a little late to Porsche ownership but have had 6 cars in the last 8 years, a Cayenne, now two Macans, a 981S, a 981 Spyder and now the 991.2 4 GTS. I was going to wait for a facelift Macan but from my previous experiences there is always another model just around the corner and you can end up waiting endlessly instead of enjoying driving the cars. Carpe Diem!!

I think it's an interesting point. Historically the GTS is always late to the party, as people have said a 'run out' model. However, if you look at the 991.2 GTS - that came out soon after the release of all the other 991.2 models, released a year after the standard 911 - so we may see the Macan.2 GTS sometime late 19 possibly?

The OPC had a few used GTSs and Turbos so I went along for a look and drive.
I drove both a GTS and a Turbo and much preferred the GTS. I was then offered a new GTS which the dealer had ordered, in fact I had a choice from three. I decided on a reasonably spec'd Volcanic Grey car which is being built mid April! I'm really pleased and got a good deal.
The Macan is my daily driver and I have a 991.2 4 GTS to play with so am more than happy with the performance of the GTS.
I could have waited for a facelift car but to be honest I'm not that patient!
I'm still very happy a week after doing the deal so its clearly right for me!

Congrats on the incoming Macan GTS. And on your 991.2 C4 GTS! Two 'sweet spot' models! Feel free to share some pics of your 991 while you wait for your new Macan!
