How to take a family of five skiing for a week in a macan. Two teenagers and a four year old in the back. Car was great and handled the extra weight brilliantly. Used to use the rack on the back of an xc90 and it made it drive like a boat but no such problem in the macan.
Most of the time there is just three of us so I didn't want to go bigger than the macan but the rack gives the versatility for the few journeys we need extra luggage space.
Rear extension...
Not seen one of those before

Factory fit towbar, as i also have a bike rack so it was an essential option for me.
I think that connecting the electrics must disable the rear sensors, as only the front seem to beep. It also disables the boot opening from the key, which saved my tailgate several times already.
That's brilliant, I have never seen this arrangement for luggage either. But if it works for bikes, why not for extra luggage.
