Morning all,

So over the past 24hrs i've spent 6+ hours on the road in the Audi TTS and one of things I actually used a lot was the cruise control.

In typical fashion I havnt specced it on our new Macan GTS (going into build 27 April) and am now wishing I did as I have to travel to client sites all over the country.

How easy/possible is it to retrofit cruise control post build? Hoping it's just a software update but suspect there is some hardware needed to.

Thanks,

Gonz.

Cruise control can be retrofitted. Have a look in the tequipment section of the Porsche website.

Surely CC is standard. ACC is the Option.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.

Nope standard CC is still an option of around £200 iirc. This is Porsche after all and you don't get much that's standard!

I had genuine cruise retro fitted to my Cayman S by the dealership.....a few years ago now, but its still a dealer fit option on tequipment as Nosmo says.

Yours for a smidge under £550!!!😉

Cruise control is standard. They all have it. The ACC which varies the speed when coming up bend someone is the £800 option. Unless they have removed it - which seems unlikely

Cruise Control and Speed Limiter is still shown as standard on the configurator this morning. ACC is an £867 option.

I have just looked on the standard spec after Paul’s post above and it is listed as standard equipment.

Thank you - pretty sure it was an option when I ordered my Macan 2 years ago (although I may be wrong but nav and connect + were definitely options then too) and it was definitely an option when I ordered the 911. Things move on which is a good thing.

To reassure the OP, I didn’t pay extra for the basic cruise / limiter on my ‘16 GTS (but I did have to spec it on my ‘15 SD.....along with bluetooth!) From memory, it became standard fit in early ‘16.
Still on tequipment for the early 14 / 15 cars I guess....
