Yes basic CC did become a standard feature on Macans in early 2016.

Incidentally I had CC retro fitted for free on a used Cayman I bought from an OPC a few years ago. It was part of the deal I negotiated.

Thank you all for the replies...my mind is now at ease.

Will make those pesky 50 zones that bit more manageable.

Yes just to confirm - it has been standard from 2016, it was only the early models that didn't come with it standard and it was a £200+ option then. ACC is of course an option.

The cruise control retrofit that Paul posts the images of says it is automatic cruise control on the website.

At £548 it is cheaper for it to be retrofitted than it is to have factory fitted.

Does not make sense to me unless the PAS works differently on a retrofit.

ACC is great, had standard CC on my SD but ACC on the Turbo just works so much better, its well worth it.

Standard CC just works but on todays heavily trafficed roads this type of CC is of very questionable use.

ACC is totally different, it also includes Porsches PAS system so an added safety feature.

I use ACC all the time especially in Yorkshire on my M62 and M1 as there are so many Average Speed Cameras it is far easier just to set the ACC and let it take care of the speed.

ACC is invaluable for me but being in the NW we do have a lot of Motorways in the region and so many of my journeys have an element of Mway cruising which makes ACC a very useful inclusion, especially in a car that is capable of warp speed.

So CC is standard but can Adaptive Cruise Control be retro fitted? It is just so useful especially in a car with touchscreen.

Do check with your OPC.

Porsche Tequipment says ...... Cruise control
Automatic cruise control with speed range from 19 to 150 mph (30 to 240 km/h).

So it says ACC but the image only show a standard CC stalk.
