Indeed.
I fitted the Rennline version to my 911 GTS the day after I bought it. Doesn't only protect the rads from stones etc it also keeps the leaves out and makes it easier to clean.

Great product

Could have done with these not just to protect intercoolers but also fitted behind the louvres to prevent this

Stones punctured front rad, they also needed to change an intercooler, result was over a month off the road and three attempts to fix before finally getting it back, cost to me was Β£630 and opc / porsche doing goodwill on the rest - I had to argue this is a design flaw as they wanted to charge me full repair costs as it’s not a warranty item 😑

The problem stems from the louvres opening and if your unlucky enough then it makes a nice big target for stones, remember it happening and was quite a bit back from the car in front

Similar problem exists with the 911 GT3 and owners will now find that Porsche make a stone guard.
So when is this β€˜old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

Yep both my GT3s have them helped me in my argument that this is a design flaw and if not covered under warranty should be goodwill toward repair

Porsche spend millions on aerodynamics and airflow management.

The grills on a Macan are dynamic.

Only an idiot would fit an aftermarket product grill to an already stunning car and spoil said airflow.

Plus do you realise that fitting a product like these grills will invalidate the UK warranty.

Finally, if you post a link it is a good idea to test it out.

I'm looking at these and thinking they look good for my 991.1 Turbo S. The vents being lower seems to make it more important, no? At last service I had to pay for cleaning debris - about Β£60+ I think - so that would mitigate the cost a little bit.
For the Macan I suppose they would be a good idea, and visually appealing - but have people had damage to their radiators on these higher vehicles?

We had the Zunsport grill guards fitted on the Cayman 981 GTS (not the side ones), but they are not yet available for the 718 GTS, sadly. Brilliant peace of kit for a peace of mind. And they looked good too. πŸ˜ƒ
We even sold the car to an OPC with them on (we doubt they would take them off before selling the car on).

Never thought of looking at the grill guards for the Macan Turbo though. Famous last words, haha!
