I happened to log into Porsche TIS today and it told me that there are open campaigns on my car, so maybe that is one.

Not the news I wanted to hear. My car should be complete this Friday so heaven knows what this will do to my delivery schedule. And there I was hoping I may see her earlier.
I will keep an eye on this thread and report back if I hear anything.

My SE called today to for a catch up from my Saturday pick up.

His words, good job you picked it up on Saturday else we could not have sold it you !!!
They have cars parked up at the garden centre over the road.

I was lucky and I'm sorry to hear about any of you who are having to wait longer for the fix.

I'm assuming it was the introduction of the new wifi/ Bluetooth RED directive. This was actually introduced I think in 2015 with a legal implemented date of June 2016.
The directive was basically a more restrictive set of procedures concerning power on transmissive devices to reduce interference with other items.

If it is this causing the issue, I'm surprised it's taken Porsche this long to do something about it.

When my car went in for its AdBlue topup 2 weeks ago they did some sort of update to the radio to make it EU compliant but couldn't really tell me exactly what it was. There is a small booklet (in 20+ languages) to say it is now compliant with something or other. Not sure if it is this... I don't have connect plus so probably don't have a repeater. I got the impression from the article that it was to do with signal boosting so that may be cars with connect plus. No idea.

Again, I'm assuming they are turning down, for want of a better phrase, the power of the repeater. Effectively reducing the range of the transmission. Personally, I'd prefer to keep it as it is.
