Thanks Semerka..must add I’m driving a GTS cayman at the moment.. what a great car you have!
Macan GTS.Vol/ grey turbo 21s, Bose, Panroof, heated seats and steering wheel, 18 way , red belts, LEDs, light comf mem, privacy , compass, 18 spare wheel, aluminium inserts, auto dim mirrors, smoked,r/rails,p/assi. CAYMAN GTS now
I am probably wrong, but perhaps the repeater is ONLY relevant when the phone is in the armrest slot as it then gets connected to the car’s external anthena. And us who just Bluetooth the phone to the car won’t tell any difference.
We have never used this function, not even sure our Macan has a smartphone tray. In the old days the trays were phone model dependant.

The phone holder is a good idea but it is too small if you have an iPhone plus (I have the 7+ and it does not fit )
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

The 911 has a good sized tray but I'm not convinced it improves the connection quality.

I have had my S petrol since 21 April. Delighted with it. Repeater unplugged. No noticeable issues with mobile phone receptionMike and his Macan wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 12:54 pm Has anyone picked up their car since this issue arose. I’m due to pick up Friday GTS Macan , Im told the repeater will be unplugged until a update, I’m assuming this will not help with mobile phone signal?
