Thanks Semerka..must add I’m driving a GTS cayman at the moment.. what a great car you have!
Macan GTS.Vol/ grey turbo 21s, Bose, Panroof, heated seats and steering wheel, 18 way , red belts, LEDs, light comf mem, privacy , compass, 18 spare wheel, aluminium inserts, auto dim mirrors, smoked,r/rails,p/assi. CAYMAN GTS now 😊

Collected my Macan GTS 2 x weeks ago and cannot stop 😊 no problem with phone or repeater.

I am probably wrong, but perhaps the repeater is ONLY relevant when the phone is in the armrest slot as it then gets connected to the car’s external anthena. And us who just Bluetooth the phone to the car won’t tell any difference.

We have never used this function, not even sure our Macan has a smartphone tray. In the old days the trays were phone model dependant.

The phone holder is a good idea but it is too small if you have an iPhone plus (I have the 7+ and it does not fit ☹️)
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

The 911 has a good sized tray but I'm not convinced it improves the connection quality.

Never noticed any difference either way but, like Semerka, I live in a generally good signal area so definitely not gospel
