The directive was basically a more restrictive set of procedures concerning power on transmissive devices to reduce interference with other items.

If it is this causing the issue, I'm surprised it's taken Porsche this long to do something about it.
This is Ofcom legislation announced on March 22nd 2018 and implemented April 12th 2018. Porsche GB realised on April 13th and warned dealers of a stop campaign (without giving details), which they started on the afternoon of April 16th. Just in time to trap my Macan!

A service bulletin is not the same as a recall....

Thanks chaps!
Thought I'd spend some more time in the real world, but I've been having a look in here from time to time. Not hanging out in JLR or Volvo fora either :)

Yes I went to pick up my new Macan S this morning and its sitting there pointing at open doors in the showroom, i can sit in it, start it, play with the radio but cant drive off with it.

Very very annoying as i swapped the insurance over from my current car with effect from today (as i have 8 years no claims bonus)

The Local dealer was apologetic.

Nice car though, even better when I get to drive it.

Chose the wood interior dash area and steering wheel and at first I thought it was the piano black option and an err, but it’s actually a lovely dark wood, looks a lot nicer than on the Porsche configurator.

Just been told by the local dealer that Porsche now have a “fix” and I should be able
to pick the car up on Friday. Might help anyone else who’s in the same situation as me.

I heard from my OPC about the issue today and they have no news about a fix. Was meant to pick up my new Macan on Saturday but now delayed.
