I find the trip is hopelessly optimistic compared to the real MPG

Yes perfectly. I was in Ireland where the motorway speed limits are 120kph which is just over 75mph.

Police tolerate speed +10% - as I understand it - so on motorways in UK a setting of 77mph is wise and 75 is positively cautious ;-)

My best shot was but that was a great result at that average speed (we all know Paul was slip-streaming a bus down an alp :lol: :lol: )
