Ah you see, this is why you need keyless entry AND exit i.e. the car automatically locks itself when you walk away with the key in your pocket.

This is where other VAG companies have it sorted well as mirrors autofold in when locking. My wife's GTI has this, lock the car and the mirrors immediately fold in, great visual way of knowing its locked as you walk away.

My 718 can be set so the mirrors fold in upon locking. I wish the McCann could do the same thing.

Ditto the new shape model Tiguan. However the new shape model Leon needs the key holding to fold in the mirrors just like the Macan!
