Had my Macan S Diesel serviced at an OPC about 6 weeks ago for its first service, I've only done around 1500 miles in it since the service and I've now got a warning to refill Adblue 1500 miles remaining.
I've contacted the OPC and they said bring it in so that they can look into it in case its a system problem, and they insisted that it did have AdBlue filled as part of the service. I doubt this is an issue with the AdBlue as the spanner icon is not visible in the warning.
I bought some AdBlue from Halfords 10 litres. I've seen YouTube videos of people filling using this big container, but it causes spillages, so went to Shell to buy a screw top refill. Shell have 1.5 litres for £9.99, and 3.5 litres for £11.35 which is a better deal.
I filled 3.5 litres into the car and the Adblue refill warning has now disappeared, bringing me to the conclusion that the OPC did not fill the AdBlue as part of the service as they claimed. Which I will complain about, but that's a separate issue.
Anyway, I plan to put as much AdBlue as possible into the tank, the warning was that 1500 miles remaining initially before I put the 3.5 litres into the tank. How much more AdBlue can I put into the tank, to fill it up as much as possible?
My plan is to make a hole in the empty Shell AdBlue screwtop container at the bottom, and then put the Halfords spout into the Shell container, then put 3.5 litres at a time using the screwtop container into the car.
Both AdBlues are ISO 22241.
Adblue tank
I think the tank holds 20 litres....dissapointing if the dealership didn’t fill it having said they did

I had my SD for about 16 months / 21500 miles and only had to fill it twice. I did mostly motorway driving which I believe uses less Adblue than if driving shorter stop / start trips.
I learnt from having the Q3 the issue of spillages when topping up Adblue - white crystallised marks on my driveway and shoes!
I have seen at some Shell garages that they now have Adblue pumps.

Certainly at my OPC, topping up the AdBlue is not part of the standard service. They charge £46 to top up the tank.
Yes, I do know it's lazy but that's what I did at the last service.

My wife's cayenne has just been serviced at the opc and they charged me 9 pounds for the ad blue and no doubt some money to fill the tank, however, I'd already filled the tank the month before so I will b free asking for a refund on this.. Just shows.. You have to check what they are charging for

When I got my SD - OPC gave me foc 3 x 1.9L proper screw on Adblue containers in a black holdall. Used 'em for 1st top up after about 10k miles
Also got some foc engine oil - but not needed that yet.
