Third adblue fill up completed at 30,500 miles. £20 for 20 litres from Halfords. It really is a bit of a faff. The VAG filler hose didn’t fit the 10l container which is fine as they are a bit of a lift. Used a smaller 5l container. Best results obtained from putting in about 3 litres at a time which gives a good air space in the filling container. I tried the free nozzle and the large container when one was partially used but it sprayed back immediately and nozzle cane off and the air was (ad)blue.

I just did my first adblue top up. I bought 2 x 10l containers from my local VW TPS and the filler hose for £20 all in. The hose was a disaster, it would tighten down on the container but refused to seal. Ditched it for the hose that came with the container and within 10 minutes I'd managed to decant both containers with zero spillage, save your money and don't bother with the hose folks!
But it's just £22 to have them fill itTom 2000 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 11:52 am Third adblue fill up completed at 30,500 miles. £20 for 20 litres from Halfords. It really is a bit of a faff.
