I understood this would be the case anyway. Cars need to be able to travel a minimum distance with zero emissions.
That distance might be up for review but it was going to almost certainly hit mild hybrids and “fashion” hybrids.
Perhaps the newspapers are having a slow news day so publishing a scare piece.
