Rear mounted bike carrier

All, appreciate I'm jumping the gun as my macan is likely for January next year (fingers and everything else crossed), but the porsche rear mounted bike carrier has a warning in the equipment brochure that says left hand drive only. Is this true as OPC doesn't know and I don't want to spec a towbar if I can't use the bike carrier.

Condsidering its available for the Cayenne then I don't see why it wouldn't be for the Macan

for what its worth i had VW bike carriers for a passat and they fit on the Macan roof bars. Most stuff is transferable.

Does the tow bar retract completely out of sight?
I'm replacing a Q5 with a Macan Turbo, I have the Audi tow bar which retracts behind the bumper and covered by a removable panel so it's not possible to see it at all when not deployed. I also use a Thule G6 928 bike carrier with LED lights so I hope this will be compatible.
