Ah but those are the fake exhaust tips
Porsche tell OPC they cannot sell Diesels
Apparently not! I read a piece last week re s/h diesel prices being increasingly strong - particularly SUVs - and petrol staying even.

VG Petrol S http://www.porsche-code.com/PHIVCQU7 And a GT3 RS... by Lego! Not crash-tested!
The new Touareg SUV will launch with a pair of V6 diesel engines. There’s a choice of two power outputs (228bhp or 282bhp) and before the end of the year a six-cylinder petrol will join the range.

For what it's worth.....as informed this morning:-
It's not just Porsches, Audi also told to stop sales of all vehicles with 3l V6 diesel engines, except (for some reason they can't understand) the Q7.
Dealerships understandably annoyed as (quote) VAG has had plenty of time to sort out s/ware for new stringent mpg tests.

S with an oil-burner engine and a few extras.
What on earth is going on???? I just rang Porsche Reading, as they are showing several SDs on their Approved Pre-Owned list, and YES they would be happy to sell one of them and would I like to view tomorrow.

Maybe that's the instruction to non Porsche Retail OPCs? To clear the field
Expired Porsche code PJVNAUH5 Rhodium SD Agate & Pebble
As of a few moments ago (Friday 1 June 16:40) there are still loads of SD vehicles shown as available on the Porsche approved used site. It really does make you wonder just what is going on.MikeMcan wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 8:53 pm The OPC have instructions from Porsche they cannot sell any used diesels.
So they have diesel stock they cannot sell.
So will not be buying any diesels.
Best they can do is trade their diesel stock on (for the moment.)
Its a real blow to them.
Hopefully it will be resolved soon for the OPCs

Rumours, mis-information and false news (click-bait?)
Probably also a blanket general statement confusing new cars and used cars.
No reason (that I can see) that any dealership shouldn’t be allowed to sell used cars .......
