Porsche tell OPC they cannot sell Diesels

Does any one have any further news re Porsche tell their OPC they cannot sell any used diesels.

Well the approved site still shows diesels available, so I guess not.

During my last conversation with my SE he told me he expected diesels back on the menu towards the end of this year. Reckoned in both Macans & Cayenne’s.

I’ve just bought a 5 month old diesel and I was also told that Diesels will be on the Menu again later in the year.

Given the new Touareg is realease with 2 diesels, 280hp 3.0l v6 ,,(Audi A6 with 3) VAG is definitely returning.

I would say there is no doubt that a diesel Macan will return once they get it to comply with the new regulations. However in order to comply it may end up a low power piece of uselessness.

That will certainly help residuals for the current diesel.......happy days

Unless there's a compulsory recall to rectify the cheat software....

Yes I wouldn’t be feeling too optimistic about the diesels that don’t meet the new regulations. Think they could be demonised for being so dirty and all the cheating stuff just wrecks the regard even more.

It affects 59,586 Cayennes [6,755] and Macans[52,831] diesels produced in 2015 and 2016.
