My GTS is nearly 1 year old, and done around 8,000 miles. I drove up to north Wales and back at the weekend and got 30.1mpg on the way up on the motorway and 28.9mpg on the way back on the A5/M6/M1. I did 75mph on the motorway when it wasn't 50mpg restricted (which did help the average).
Very happy with that!

In comparison I have just driven to Geisenfeld, a small town near Ingolstadt, and back in my Continental GT V8 S. Total distance covered 1502 miles - Overall 29.1 MPG - Average speed 58.2 mph. Max on A5, A8 Autobahns 135 mph, cruising at 83 mph on autoroutes in France and pottered around Bavaria for a week.
When I confirmed the numbers I thought they were amazing.

That is amazing for a 4 litre V8 and four wheel drive and heavier than the Macan. Shows what the frontal area of the SUVs does to consumption.Mistertoad wrote: ↑Tue Jun 05, 2018 3:41 pm In comparison I have just driven to Geisenfeld, a small town near Ingolstadt, and back in my Continental GT V8 S. Exactly the same journey in my Cayenne S last year returned 23.4 mpg overall. Increasing speed by as little as 5 mph could ruin the figures, so drag is a big influence on SUV consumption. My son in formation in his 992.2 this year averaged 32 mpg.

GTS 16K and getting 30mpg when driving up the A34/M4 to Bristol doing 65mph early in the morning. Only driving at that ( v boring) speed as the meetings start at 0900, no point in rushing to get there at 0800 and then wait around.
The drive back is different, much more fun at roundabouts, slip roads etc but still getting 24/25 mpg. Only gets lower around town and when sport and sport+ are selected

Our S will be 2 years old on 1 Sept and has now done just over 15,000 miles. We do quite frequent trips between the Scottish Borders and home in Dorset, a distance of about 400 miles, and always achieve at least 34mpg on that journey, even laden and with some fairly spirited driving on the usually very quiet A7 between Carlisle and Hawick. We normally achieve just shy of 30mpg in everyday driving.

Drove the Carrera T from Wiltshire to Beaulieu and back on Sunday.
Averaged around 32-33 mpg both ways, and that included a few enthusiastic bursts!
