That's a pretty small population that you're appealing to there, Bogus.
Not sure that many (if any) on this forum have a PP with 21" wheels.

Nearly identical for us Bristol-Beaulieu-Bristol, including the hour queuing. A comfortable 2 hours each way, really makes for a nice all-round touring car performanceWing Commander wrote: ↑Tue Jun 05, 2018 7:52 pm Drove the Carrera T from Wiltshire to Beaulieu and back on Sunday.
Averaged around 32-33 mpg both ways, and that included a few enthusiastic bursts!

Difficult leg down with many roadworks to the Italian Tyrol to overnight near Bolzano. About 650kms, ave speed 86kph returning 28.5 mpg.

To put a diesel perspective on this conversation, I’ve just completed my first decent run in my SD; 480 miles from Berkshire to West Brom to Stoke to Liverpool and home, mixed driving on the motorway, some steady cruising (70 - 75) but also a lot of queuing through the M6 roadworks (55 mins almost stationary / stop start) and a few short trips to hotels. All in all 41.8mpg which I was quite pleased with......
Macan SD, Jet Black Metallic, Panoramic Roof, 21” Turbo’s, PASM, Bose, 14 way Comfort Seats, PDLS + a few other bits.
Trip to Silverstone today. 120 miles with quite a bit of traffic so I decided to do a steady (and environmentally friendly) 65mph. At the end the readout said an average of 33.4 mpg which I thought was outstanding.
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

Anyone have a view on what the consumption of the new 3l unit will be like (in the facelift I mean, as and when it happens)? Presumably the newer engine should be at least somewhat more efficient. But on the assumption that the existing 3l one gives maybe 19-20mpg true (say 21-22 indicated) as an overall everyday average then will the new engine be 10% better (eg 22 true) or it it too much to expect getting up to 24-25 true?
