Bonnet safety catch just sliding across without releasing bonnet. I can’t see any way to get in with a screwdriver etc, looks like a visit to the dealers.
2018 Macan S any body else had this problem ?

Have you tried lifting the bonnet slightly whilst sliding the catch?

I had a bit of trouble with this initially - I ended up by lifting the bonnet with the other hand while sliding the catch across. It would be embarrassing to visit the dealer if they just lift it up

What Ian.g said above. Took it to the dealer who just opened it normally. Turns out the bonnet is seriously heavy compared to my aluminium 911bonnet which I release and lift with one hand. The Macan needs a hand for the catch and another to lift the bonnet. Embarrassing or what .......
